I am a mixed-media artist who blurs the line between digital art and fine-art photography.
All of these pieces feature domestic or recreational environments. They possess a warm color palette and accentuate a sense of woozy leisure. My art features retro, everyday objects from the past. It's reminiscent of a time when people had the option to unplug from media, work, or reality itself.
In my work, I find myself returning to this dream world. It’s hard to dream as the working world modernizes. Technology fuels productivity, but these same advancements impede our personal lives. In a technology-obsessed corporate world, a virtual cubicle follows us every second of the day. Even when you embark on a rare summer vacation, you return with a sunburned neck from looking down at a phone and answering emails. My surrealist art is filled with defunct technology and pastel sunsets.
